At the very top of Artemis’ Guesthouse, Sofita rewards those who climb. A spacious room for two with a double bed, its attic ceiling follows the pitch of the old roof – intimate and enveloping in a way only a top-floor room can be. The small private balcony, perfectly sized for a couple, opens onto what may be the finest view in the village of Kipoi – rooftops, stone, forest and the mountain horizon stretching out in silence. Of all seven rooms, Sofita is the one guests are most reluctant to leave.
